Campus-wide award for most market-ready innovation

To help UW-Madison student entrepreneurs who have the best, highest-potential ideas navigate the commercialization process and implement business plans, Perkins Coie sponsors a $10,000 “best of show” award for a student project that is most ready for market launch.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison and Perkins Coie LLC have established the award to encourage creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The award highlights the strength of Perkins Coie as a national leader in business law and intellectual property protection. It also meshes with UW-Madison’s commitment to fostering greater economic impact through its innovation and entrepreneurship programs. And it extends the many successful innovation competitions that focus on key processes, from business plans, energy and sustainability to software and wireless design.
